Worlds Best Hamburger Recipe - maybe
What is the worlds best hamburger recipe ? Well, I would think the answer to that would depend
on what you like on your burger and what flavors you like in your burger. A hamburger is probably
one of the most varied things that we eat. People like them in every state from plain to piled high with
fixings. And the fixings range from cheese to tomatoes to onions to pickles to lettuce to beats to
fried eggs to bacon to mushrooms and that's just the tip of the iceberg! And don't even get me started
on the potential condiments! Or the different ingredients that can be added into the hamburger. My husband
loves his burgers with jalapeno peppers, liquid smoke and cheddar cheese on top. I love mushroom and swiss on
my burgers. Below you will find some burger recipes to try. And I would love to hear what your favorite
burger recipe is!
Pizza Burger
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 large tomato, seeded, chopped
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tbsp chopped onion
Directions
- 1. Thoroughly mix the ground beef, salt, and pepper.
- 2. Pat in the bottom of a pie plate.
- 3. Top with tomato, cheese, oregano, and onion.
- 4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes.
- 5. Cut into wedges to serve.
Hamburger Cheese Patties
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- dash red pepper or chili powder
- 2 slices cheese
- 1 small can tomato sauce
Directions
- 1. Mix ground beef, salt, pepper, and red pepper until well blended.
- 2. Form into four patties and press thin between two plates.
- 3. Top two of the patties with first a slice of cheese and then another patty.
- 4. Pinch around the edges to seal.
- 5. Brown on both sides, reduce heat.
- 6. Pour tomato sauce over patties and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- 7. Serve immediately.
Meat Patties with Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
- 1/2 tsp salt
- dash pepper
- 2 tbsp minced onion
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup catsup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 tsp prepared mustard
Directions
- 1. Combine beef, oatmeal, salt pepper, onion, egg and milk; mix thoroughly and form into patties.
- 2. Brown patties on both sides.
- 3. Combine catsup, brown sugar and mustard; put spoonful on each patty.
- 4. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until meat is done.
Barbecue Hamburger
Ingredients
- 1 cup soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Directions
- 1. Moisten the bread crumbs with the milk.
- 2. Add ground beef, onion, and seasonings.
- 3. Mix it all together and shape into patties
- 4. Cook the patties on one side on the grill.
- 5. Flip the patty when ready.
- 6. Pour barbecue sauce over patties. Cover and cook until done.
Pizza Burger Recipe 2
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 lb bacon
- 4 slices mozarella cheese
- 1/3 cup shredded gouda cheese
- 1 8 oz can Ragu pizza sauce
Directions
- 1. Cook bacon thoroughly but not until it is crispy. Drain the bacon fat and set aside to cool.
- 2. Combine the ground beef, bacon, gouda and about 3 tbsp of the Ragu pizza sauce). Mold into patties.
- 3. Heat up your frying pan and fry your burgers (or put them on the grill is better yet)
- 4. After the burgers have cooked for about 4 minutes, flip them.
- 5. Top each patty with 1 tbsp of Ragu pizza sauce and one slice of mozzarella.
Awesome Onion Burgers
Ingredients
- 3 pounds ground round
- 1 package Liptons dry onion soup mix
- 2 beef bouillon cubes, crushed
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp ground red cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp beer
Directions
- Mix all together and shape into 12 patties. Grill until done to your liking.
- If you want to add a little hickory taste, try a few drops of liquid smoke while mixing your burgers.
Blue Cheese Burgers
Ingredients
- 3 pounds lean ground beef
- 4 oz blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup minced fresh chives
- 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry mustard
Directions
- 1. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, blue cheese, chives, hot pepper sauce,
Worcestershire sauce, pepper, salt, and mustard. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- 2. Preheat grill onto high. Makes about 12 hamburger patties
- 3. Oil the grill grate. Grill patties 5 minutes per side or until well done.
