Hamburger Potato Casserole Recipes

you have on hand that will please the meat and potato guy at the table and the picky kids.

Easy Ground Beef Casserole with Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef, browned
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3 large potatoes, sliced
- 2 Carrots, shredded
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper
Directions
- 1. Brown ground beef in a skillet with chopped onions.
- 2. Cook until onions are tender.
- 3. Drain off excess fat
- 4. Transfer ground beef and onion to casserole dish.
- 5. Add layer of sliced raw potatoes.
- 6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 7. Shred carrots to cover potatoes.
- 8. Put soup over carrots.
- 9. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
- 10. Sprinkle shredded cheese over top and bake for about 5 minutes longer,
or until cheese is melted.
Ground Beef Potato and Cheese Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 cups corn kernels, or 1 can (15 ounce), drained
- 16 ounces diced frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed, or about
3 to 4 cups diced or sliced raw potato
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cups shredded sharp or mild Cheddar cheese
Directions
- 1. Combine beef, onion, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and salt.
- 2. In a separate bowl, combine corn, potatoes, flour, melted butter, and chopped green bell pepper.
- 3. Pat the beef mixture into a 13x9x2-inch baking pan; top with the corn and potato mixture.
- 4. Bake uncovered at 375° for 45 minutes; sprinkle with the cheese and
bake ground beef casserole 15 to 20 minutes longer, or until browned and
potatoes are tender.
Hamburger Potato Casserole 1
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 3 cups peeled and thinly sliced potatoes
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3/4 cup milk
- salt to taste
- freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 2. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef; drain grease.
- 3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, onion, milk, salt and pepper to taste.
- 4. Alternately layer the potatoes, soup mixture and meat in a 11x7 inch (2 quart) baking dish. Bake
in the preheated oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until potatoes are tender. Top with Cheddar cheese, and continue baking until cheese is melted.
Hamburger Potato Casserole 2
Ingredients
- 5 small to medium potatoes, raw, sliced thin
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 can vegetarian vegetable soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 Tablespoons minced onion
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Directions
- 1. In a skillet brown the ground beef, drain.
- 2. Mix both cans of soup (undiluted) in with ground beef.
- 3. Cover bottom of an 8x12 -2 quart casserole dish with the oil.
- 4. Layer potatoes in the bottom of the casserole dish and sprinkle with
salt, pepper, and minced onion.
- 5. Pour beef mixture evenly over potatoes.
- 6. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese on top
- 6. Cover with foil.
- 7. Bake at 375 for 1 hour, or till potatoes are done.
Hamburger Potato Casserole 3
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 small can cream of potato soup
- 1 20 oz. pkg. shredded hash browns
- 1 C. shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
- 1. Preheat oven to 450°
- 2. Brown beef in skillet,drain.
- 3. Add broth and soup.
- 4. Spread hash browns in greased 9"x13" baking dish.
- 5. Top with beef and broth mixture.
- 6. Bake covered for 20 minutes.
- 7. Uncover and cook another 10 minutes.
- 8. Sprinkle with cheese before serving.
